Life in Boyceville (population 1000, give or take a dozen) can be busier than you’d think.

We’re in church for several events every week, and Marilyn and the kids make regular trips to the libraries (both Boyceville and Menonomnie, 20 minutes away), Walmart, and homes of friends. On “Daddy Days,” there all all kinds of adventures.

Central to our lives is fulfilling God’s purposes for giving us life. We are here to worship Him, serve Him, know Him. As the Bible puts it to “love the Lord with your heart, soul, mind and strength.”

We are so thankful for the Bible and those who have taught us from it. We learn there that Jesus Christ came into the world to redeem sinners like us. Redeem from what? From sin’s penalty (Jesus paid it) from sin’s power (Jesus overcame it) and eventually, from sin’s presence in our lives (Jesus replaces it with His own holiness).
